i stayed in. what? i just said it was too cold! i played. i played hard. my stash is building. i really need to play with making xmas cards. THAT stash is just about zero and i KNOW it'll creep up on me real fast! anyway, let's see what i did...
i have a 1st birthday party to go to today and this is what i made. my neighbors great granddaughter is 1. boy time flies. they're having a little party for her at the clubhouse so i'm going. the birthday girl and her mom stop by often. makes me feel old when i've known the mom since she's a young teenager and now she's a mom herself. oy yoy yoy!
so, i took my SU large star punch and just punched randomly on the card. punched again on some pink paper and glued it on the inside. the scallop edge is also a SU punch, as is the ribbon and cardstock. ok already! i'm a die-hard SU fan! anyway, i like this. bet it would be great in blue too!

TODAY'S WORDS OF WISDOM.....
Did you ever notice: When you put the 2 words 'The' and 'IRS' together it spells 'Theirs...'
Aging: Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to your youth, think of Algebra.
You know you are getting old when everything either dries up or leaks.
One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it is such a nice change from being young. Ah, being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.
hugs and sparkles...
