Feeling Creative

well, off i went to get my taxes done.  i get back a little - nowhere near what came back when hubby was alive.  oh well... a little is better than nothing.

weather wise, it flurried on and off all day, but the winds were slight so it wasn't bad.  puppy loves to stick her nose in the snow and then lick her nose.  she also likes to run in and she's just too cute when she does.
i took her for a ride and we both had lunch at mcdonald's.  she's a big fan of a plain old cheesburger - nothing on it but cheese.  now if only i can get her to slow down her eating!!!!!

got home and went to my room to play.  i'm feeling very creative lately.  guess that's a good thing - LOL - but before i get to what i played with... today is my NEW RELEASE day at floppys.  - boy wednesday's get here fast!!!

had to throw something in for st. pat's.

this would make a nice tag on a huge box of chocolates - ya think????

awwwwwwwwww - just awwwwwwwww

and here's what i played with yesterday.....

this is not typical for me, but i always wanted to try something like this.  easy too!  i took some chalk box inks and just dragged them on some cardstock.  stamped the cat-tail image but it didn't come out quiet the way i wanted so i filled it in with a light brown marker.  added the twine and sentiment and layered in on some kraft cardstock.  surprised myself with this one... i really, really like it!

not sure what my plans for today are, but that's ok... i like surprises!!!

TODAY'S WORDS OF WISDOM....

A pastor was presenting a children's sermon. During the sermon, he asked the children if they knew what the resurrection was. Now, asking questions during children's sermons is crucial, but at the same time, asking children questions in front of a congregation can also be very dangerous.
Having asked the children if they knew the meaning of the resurrection, a little boy raised his hand. The pastor called on him and the little boy said, "I know that if you have a resurrection that lasts more than four hours you are supposed to call the doctor."
It took over ten minutes for the congregation to settle down enough from their laughter for the worship service to be continued.

now this IS funny!

hugs and sparkles,

Gorgeous card! Love the combination of colors. The chalk make such a pretty effect. Does the chalk rub off or did you seal it with some kind of spray sealer? Fun images you have this time. And a cute joke to boot! Have a wonderful Thursday! Inching toward the weekend! Yeah!
