the kids were here yesterday and i got to play in my room. i decided to make a few "note-size" cards instead of A2, so here ya go...
personally, in pictures they look like A2 cards. this is another one outside my realm. not too many of my friends travel but i sure like how this turned out. kraft base; then very vanilla on which i smooshed chocolate chip ink on, and stamped all the images in the same color. i like it.
very simple on this one. don't know why i grabbed the grey, would be pretty on any color. stamps are by stampin up, and i heat-embossed in seafoam white, then embossed some SWIRLS (cuttlebug) on the bottom. again, easy.
i did the smaller size to see how i liked them. figured it may be a bit cheaper to mail out and if anyone wanted to purchase them, they'd be cheaper too. just my own personal thoughts.
staying in today because it's supposed to be icy out and there's no reason for me to leave the house anyway. i'll be playing for sure. i'm on a roll here - LOL.
hope you're all under good weather and staying warm and cozy wherever you are.
TODAY'S WORDS OF WISDOM....
Gladys failed a Health and Safety course at the Local Senior Centre today.
One of the questions was:
"In the event of a fire, what steps would you take?"
"F***ing big ones", was apparently, not the correct answer.
that would have been my answer too, for sure!!!
hugs and sparkles,

Beautiful, you have that special touch with all your work, gorgeous creations. We're suppose to be getting that nasty storm weather tomorrow. Stay warm and dry.
Hugs, Lori m
Love your gorgeous cards Stef...xxx
Simply beautiful. It's supposed to snow here on Long Island as well. This girl from the southwest cant take it so I hope it doesn't stick around.
These are both beautiful, Stef! Hope you don't get too much snow - they have the nasty 4-letter 's' word in our forecast for early next week. ugh. Keep warm, and be crafty all day! Hugs...
Damn Blogger, just lost my comment! Wonderful cards! I love both of them. Fun images. Hope your weather isn't too bad. We had 60 degrees and sunny today but rain is heading in. My son in Boston just called. The governor just closed roads as of noon tomorrow. They are expecting several feet of snow. I'd like a couple days to stay at home and craft!
Adorable!!!
WE GOT HIT WITH THE STORM...I GOT TO CLOSE THE OFFICE TWO HOURS EARLY!!!
I almost took that long to get home, just kidding. It took me about 20 extra minutes to get home going 20 all the way home.
Crazy weather that is for sure.
Stay in and safe my friend
